Int'l experts to hold cinema workshops in Iran

Two experts from France and England have been scheduled to hold workshops on the contributing aspects of cinema.

Opening at the Cinematheque of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) on Sunday, a three-day workshop will be led by French composer Jean-Philippe Bec and London’s Storia Productions CEO Pascal Benbrik.

Among the topics to be addressed include film music, modern methods used in writing scenarios and academic approaches specifically used in the French cinema of today.

The TMCA invites the public to attend the workshops as well as tour the museum's vast archive of invaluable holdings.

Iranian Cinema has taken great strides in introducing the rich history and culture of the region.

Prominent filmmaker Majid Majidi mentioned that Iranian Cinema has the potential of being globalized and Iranian filmmakers should participate at international festivals in various countries.
